Pushing Religion?

Someone must think I am immoral, non-religious, or something. In the last couple of weeks I have received materials from the Adventist church or person in my neighborhood. Today was no exception. However, today seemed a little different. Like I was specifically being targeted for this pushing of religious beliefs. I went out to get my mail and found an Adventist magazine in the spot for the paper. I turned it over thinking it odd that it wasn't with the rest of my mail. And, the address had been carefully torn off the magazine. I took a closer look and discovered it was a December issue! What on earth?! I called my neighbor to see if they had the same thing happen or if they knew who might be doing this. No such luck there. They did receive something a week or so ago. But, nothing today. And, they don't know who is Adventist around here. This area is mostly Catholic. I would love to be able to return the favor one day. I could either give them their magazine back with a note saying that I have my own beliefs and don't appreciate them pushing theirs on me. Or, I could flood them with materials from my own church. I like the first better because I am not one to push religion on other people. I would probably have ignored it if somehow I had gotten on the church's mailing list and it had been mailed to me rather than a neighbor sticking it on my doorstep!

I can see your point. I just don't like people to be pushy about it. And, to do this anonymously seems to make it worse than standing up for what you believe in. My neighbors did not receive it either. So, it makes one wonder why they are targeting you.
