A Good End to a Crappy Week

Thank goodness for great endings! This weekend was good and productive. Let me begin with Friday...beautiful weather. I finished some school work and got outside for a bit. I washed the filth off my car/SUV. I raked the leaves out of my flower beds and bagged them. I noticed some of my plants were started to sprout again...very exciting. The hydrangea have leaves popping out of the brown twigs and the trees are starting to blossom. And, I still have berries on the holly tree. It was nice to spend some time outside. Then I was able to complete my application for my student loans and fax the paperwork to school. I ended up going across the street for a few hours and watched a game of Texas Hold 'em.

Saturday was spent with the windows open, radio on, and the books in hand. I was able to complete my portion of a group project and worked a bit on my CRP (read articles and wrote summaries). I also watched a movie and chatted with a couple of friends.

Today I worked a little more on my CRP summaries. Then I was off to a friend's to celebrate her birthday. We went out to Manassas to a roller rink. I was an observer and it was fun to watch. Then we went to Alexandria to Outback for dinner. There were 15 of us for dinner. We had a good time.

So, the weekend ended my yucky week on a positive note. Yaaaay! And, Grey's Anatomy is on. So, I am a happy camper.
