CRP Topic Narrowed Down
Yaaay! I have finally narrowed down my CRP topic. The question I will attempt to answer:
Will an early intervention program, at the time of diagnosis, in pain management and mental health treatment decrease the incidence of a depressive disorder among patients with Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (aka Complex Regional Pain Syndrome)?
Confusing?! Maybe. But, I am interested in chronic pain and depression. In fact, that is the population I work with in private practice. I will begin to work on writing my proposal to be submitted with the hopes that it will be approved by both of my chairs. The proposal is due by April 15th (tax day). I would like to be able to complete this before then as that is Easter weekend and I will have to study for a final that weekend.
