Saturday Fun

A friend called yesterday to see if I wanted to go to a movie. We went to see Failure to Launch. It was pretty good. Well, the last little bit was a little blah, but overall it was a good movie. Maybe part of that is because we enjoyed watching the relationships in the film from a psychological perspective as well as the story.

Then we went to a couple of stores before heading to dinner at Sine in Pentagon City. I had a great almond crusted chicken with a honey mustard cream sauce. And, because it was an Irish pub, I had a Jameson and Ginger. Yummy. Jameson Irish Whiskey is smooth.

After dinner, we headed to Old Town Alexandria to Rock It Grill. An interesting, but very smokey place. (I had to take a shower when I got home so that I could stand to be with myself!) There was a mix of people from young to old, country to city. There was karaoke and dance music alternating. Well, it was mostly karaoke while we were there. It was definitely entertaining.
