One Tree Hill

Yes, I watch One Tree Hill on the WB. I just finished watching Wednesday night's episode...wow! It was powerful. And, I am glad I didn't see it when it was on. I TiVo the show since I don't get home until 8:30 pm or after on Wednesdays.

So, the past episode was a lead in to this episode but I never expected the outcome. The show (these past two weeks) was about a kid who wasn't either noticed or was made fun of...a loner, so-to-speak. The one last week showed the time capsule videos the kids had made being released and this kid saying how each day he enters the school means one day closer to when he doesn't have to enter it again. He was encouraged to go to an event where some of the jocks and popular guys beat on him. On this episode he entered into the school with a gun, fired the gun, and held some students hostage. He left the room and ended up killing himself. Then, the evil brother of the adult who had gone into the school to talk to this kid picked up the gun and shot his brother! I was stunned despite knowing that he would do something like that.

I guess I will have to tune in next week to find out what happens! Glad I have TiVo as I had a tendency to forget to set the VCR to record. I think the show does a reasonable job at getting to the real-life issues that teens face today and how messed up some families really are. The dynamics are realistic.

Never watched the show. Only a few shows I follow regularly. Lost is the main one.
Do not want to watch stuff like real life on TV unless it is something like Trauma: Life in the ER.

Lost is good too. I just got caught up on that last night. It was one of those that I wasn't really in to in the beginning but was always drawn to watch. Now I am hooked.
