An Incredibly Fun Day

What an incredibly fun day! Luckily, I got a good night's sleep last night and even went to bed early. A good thing since I woke up this morning at a time that I would be normally going to work. I met a co-worker and her boyfriend at Cleveland Park and we walked to the zoo. We met a few other people to see the pandas. Tai Shan spent much of the time we were there in a tub. He did get up right before we left and walked across the yard to another of his favorite spot.

I then headed over to a friend's place for a girls day in party. It was a Southern Living at Home and Tastefully Simple party. We had a good time and tasted some great foods. The party seemed to be a success.

Then we were off to Murphy's in Old Town Alexandria for some drinking, eating, singing, and clapping. What a fantastic time! There were ten of us total. We tried to go chase airplanes afterward but the park was closed. I am not quite sure what that really entails, but it sounded fun. Thus, we went back to my friend's place and played a DVD game about movies. I am definitely not the trivial person. But, I didn't do too bad.

It was great to put school on the back burner for the day and spend time with friends.
