A Little Freaked Out

There is no vision miracle. I happened to look in my eye tonight a certain way in the light to see how the redness is and discovered there is a contact in my left eye. Bizarre. I took out a pair of contacts when I went to see the doctor. And, I took out the left contact when I put in a stronger prescription in the office. Then, I took out the stronger one here. So, how is there a contact in my eye?! I have always replaced both contacts when only one needed to be replaced or when it was time. Thus, a little freaked out. Where has this contact been? In the back of my eye? And, how did my vision check out the same Rx if I had a contact in that eye? And, how was I seeing fine with other pairs of contacts in? But, could that explain the "stigmatism" she saw? And, why wouldn't she have seen it if it was on the eye in its appropriate position? Okay, I have a lot of questions. But I have triple checked my lens cases and there are three pair there. Freaky!

Some possibilities that a friend and I came up with:
1. I am losing my mind.
2. Aliens snuck a contact in my eye at night.
3. It was in the back of my eye for how long?

I vote for #2. You're too level-headed to be losing your mind, and if it had been there for THAT LONG, you would have noticed it!

I know for me, when I put my contacts in when there's something in there already, I always tear up. It's really strange that it happened?!
