Dissertation Process

I met with my dissertation (well, my school calls it a CRP) chair today for a bit. She had reviewed my "proposal" I had written in stats and thought I had a lot of good work. However, she thinks I need to narrow down my topic. I fully agree or I could write 16 volumes of a book. So, we went over a few possibilities. In the next two weeks I will be looking over the literature and try to narrow my topic. I am supposed to have my proposal written and signed off on by my chair and second reader by April 17. I guess you might hear a lot of rumbling during the CRP process over the next year and a half on here. Maybe you will feel my pain?! But, this all means that the light at the end of the tunnel (this program) will be shining brighter and brighter!
