Sometimes Its the Simple Things

Sometimes the simple things in life bring the most happiness. My mom gave me a lava lamp nightlite for Christmas one year. It is fun. But, recently the glitter has been floating at the top and not doing the typical lava lamp action. :-( It was neat to see the reflections on the wall. I miss it.

My neighbor started feeding a stray cat and her kittens. They aren't running from them anymore and seem to enjoy their front porch a lot. Tonight I went to let me dog in and saw two more kittens. They are cute. One has a bob tail. As much as they are a joy to watch, I wish she would have them spayed or neutered. I think they have a total of 6 or 7 cats over there now. And, as much as I like cats...I think they should be taken care of if you are going to keep them around. What I mean by that is they should be fixed and have their shots. But, they are cute to watch playing around the yard.
