Wasted Time?

I returned to DC Superior Court today. I was scheduled to see one client, and had planned to write a couple of reports and make a few phone calls. Well, my client called the Probation Officer after I arrived to say she was sick and couldn't make it. Then, I couldn't get on the computer to write reports and print them there. I made a few phone calls but didn't get much success for reaching people I needed to reach. Was it wasted time? I tend to think much of my time there is wasted. But, I can do anything for another 25 weeks or so.
