Good News!
I got good news today. First of all, I did really well on my physiological psychology exam. I am very happy for that. I was exhausted and didn't study as much as I should have. And, I woke up with a bad cold the day of the exam. So, all things considered, I did great, excellent, and all the other words you can use to describe a fantastic grade.
I also heard today that a professor is interested in chairing my CRP (clinical research project - the equivalent to a dissertation in other programs). That is fantastic news as well. So, I have both my readers. Now, to just get it all started. I will have a year and a half to get it finished. Hopefully it won't take that long. Essentially, it is an 80 page paper on depression and chronic pain. I need to narrow down the topic so it is more focused and will work with the chair to do so. I am really happy that stress is off me. And, she is part of the training department...so, if things go really well, maybe I can get a good recommendation from her for internship applications.
This all means that I am one step closer to finishing this program. Yaaay! We even register next week for the spring semester. Wow. Two and a half years left in the program if all goes well. Keep those fingers crossed for me please.
