Weekend Fun

This weekend was a lot of fun...no studying involved this weekend. Friday night I went to my neighbor's house to play Bunco and won the pot for first place (we all put in $10 to play and the pot is given to the first and second place winners and the last place person gets their $10 back). Well, it sounds good but it probably makes me break even after all the times I have played and lost. There was lots of laughter and good food.

Saturday evening was spent celebrating a friend's birthday. We had a potluck dinner at a friend's apartment before heading to Ned Devine's to hear Fighting Gravity play. We spent several hours dancing and laughing. We had an awesome time. I was the DD, and happy to be since I am recovering from a cold.

Today I mowed the yard, hopefully for the last time this season. And, I spent time watching movies and television. Essentially, I have spent the day taking it easy. The week will begin with a roar again tomorrow.
