Icky Boy in the Gym
Usually when I head to the gym I can work out in peace. I also usually go in the morning. Today I went around 3:30 pm. I have gotten in the habit of wearing yoga pants to work out in with a solid color t-shirt (you will understand why I say this later). Well, today wasn’t as peaceful. A guy probably 10 years my junior, with obviously bleached blonde hair sat at the machine next to me. Here goes the conversation:
Guy: So, are those khaki pants you are wearing?
Me: Well, they are yoga pants.
Guy: If you didn’t wear pants, what would you wear?
Me: I guess that would be shorts.
Guy: If you didn’t wear shorts what would you wear?
Me: Now, I don’t think that would be any of your business would it?
Guy: I guess not. I have another question. You know what it would be?
Me: Why do I have on an orange shirt?
Guy: Is that an orange shirt?
Me: It sure looks like it.
Guy: Why an orange shirt?
Me: Why not?
Guy:Well, I wanted to talk to you and figured it was better than just saying hi, don’t you think?
Me: I guess so. (and, walked away)
Unfortunately, he seemed to linger around wherever I went. Didn’t he get the hint?! So, okay guys…better lines needed. And, don’t ask stupid questions. What is wrong with just saying hi?

I think he's just attempt to be "cool" when he clearly doesn't know how.
So that's what I've been doing wrong??
I don't know what you have been doing wrong, anonymous. Different people like different approaches. I have to give that guy an A for making the effort, just a poor grade for the approach.
