Helping Out Friends
I told a friend a while back that I would help her move. Sometimes I wondered why I said I would help anyone move toward the end of July. I have done enough of that on my own as it seems I always pick the hottest time of the year to move. But, I did offer and I am a person that definitely tries to stick to my word.
So, this morning I went to help her move. It wasn't so bad. Luckily a cool front came through last night and decreased the humidity. We had plenty of help and were able to get it done fairly quickly...never would happen that way in my situation.
It was very nice to be able to help out a friend. Afterall, what are friends for! Now that I have procrastinated long enough, I need to get after my midterm exam.

Congratulations on establishing your blog!
I have always volunteer to move for friends. I helped my cousin move out of her office once and two weeks later I helped a friend move into her current apartment. I talked to my parents that weekend of my friend's move, and they said to me "why are you always helping other people move?" Although I think that statement might be influenced by my brother though, since I heard it from him first.
Good luck with your midterm! I know that midterm seems to drag on forever...
