Old Friends Become New (sort of) Again

It seems like we make friends and lose some throughout life. It was a hard thing to learn as a child. And, sometimes it is even difficult as an adult. I feel really lucky for the friends that I have made throughout my life and who have enriched my life. I don’t think I would be where I am today if it weren’t for the friends (and my family) I have met along the way.

The neatest thing is reconnecting with old friends. It has been really awesome catching up with people after 7-15 years apart like it was yesterday that we had last talked. I have been really fortunate in reconnecting with these people and beginning new relationships of sorts. It is too bad that we all live in different parts of the country. I hope that this time around, we won’t wait so long to keep in touch.
