All About Friends Today

This morning I met some friends at school to support a friend who is dealing with an incredible amount of stress. Unfortunately, the issue was not resolved today. I wish it were as this issue has been going on for far longer than it has needed to. I wish there was more I could do to help out. But, I know my presence, even though I couldn't be in the meeting, meant a great deal. It was my pleasure, and that of my peers, to be there to show support!

Then I met another friend for lunch and help with an iTunes problem. Lunch was good. Unfortunately, my iTunes problem couldn't be fixed. There was a much appreciated effort.

And, then tonight I met a third friend for dinner. We hadn't seen each other for 14 years. It was fun. He is as crazy as ever. (He will love me for saying that!) We went to undergrad together at Presbyterian College in Clinton, South Carolina. Anyway, it was nice to rekindle a friendship and even better that someone from the past lives nearby.

I also talked to another friend from college tonight. He was really excited as he had just learned that he received a fellowship for his first year in a doctorate program. Yaaay! Congrats!
