Follow-up Appointment

I met with the internist today for a follow-up appointment. My PT INR levels were down to 1.9. Other than that, I am moving along. I can fly as long as I get up every half hour and walk. I will alternate between 9 and 8 mgs of coumadin each night. I do not have to go back to see him but will have to call and check in for my blood levels which are now checked every three weeks!! And, I should be off the coumadin by the end of October. A good thing since I am missing having salads and all this summer.
