Been A While

So, it has been some time since I have written anything here. Let me see if I can think of all that has gone on since the first of the month.

My CRP proposal was approved and signed off on. What a relief. My chair told me to wait until after my comprehensive exam (July 30 and August 6) to start writing. My goal is to write a chapter a month until it is written. And, while that is my goal, I think I will be realistic and say that I might get one written every couple of months. I would just like to have it written before I leave for internship.

I spent a weekend at Dewey Beach, DE for a friend's bachelorette party. We had a good time. All I have to say is that I could care less if I ever see a stripper again. It wasn't that great. I really like Dewey Beach and would love to have a place there to go to on the weekends.

I have just about finished my summer class. I have to prepare for my exam and I will be done. I will not have any more classes over the summer. I will be preparing for the comprehensive exam and looking into internship sites. I begin to apply in the fall. Keeping my fingers crossed and prayers said that I will not become too stressed over the process.

As for eHarmony, I have met several people in the last month or so. I saw one person for a few weeks. Things seemed to go really well. But, he decided that he wasn't sure that there was something missing he was looking for. He admitted that he really liked me and enjoyed spending time with him making the decision difficult. So, even though I miss him, I have began getting to know other people and continued with several that I had put on hold when I wasn't sure what was going to happen. The process has been interested and can be overwhelming. But, I feel it will all work out in the end. I can honestly say that each person I have met has been very nice.

I have finished my practicum at DC Superior Court. It was a great experience...other than sitting around when the kids didn't show up. Now I will add a second day a week in private practice. I am looking forward to the experience and extra money. It is hard to believe that I have been there almost two years now.

I guess that is about it for me as of late.
