Continuing to Wait

Well, we continue to wait for our exam results. My guess is that they will wait until 5pm tomorrow to post the results. Why? Because it will be a 3-day weekend for the administrative staff. Thus, they can run away and hide from the irate students. We had an email today stating the deadline "to meet the qualifications for internship (as outlined in the Campus Addendum) has been extended to Friday, October 13." Does this mean the school has another week to let us know the results of our comps? That would suck. Many people responded to that with emails asking questions about our results. What we got back in a mass email was the following: "I don't have word on when comps results will be distributed, but we wanted to be sure you knew any delay would not affect your eligibility for internship."

I am so tired of waiting. My body is beginning to hurt as I am somaticizing my stress and I am emotionally exhausted. This needs to end. I am surprised that my blood pressure wasn't out the roof last week. Of course, it might be today! I want the wait to be over. My body and mind can't take much more. One might think that the administrators of a psychology program would be sensitive to their students' stress levels. Yeah, not so much here! JUST GIVE US OUR RESULTS...NOW!
