Still Waiting...
We are still waiting to hear about our exam results. Nothing has been sent out by the school stating what their procedures will be either.
And, today I heard that the school is required by the parent company...yes, that means they are for profit...to accept 20% more students each year. This program is becoming a paper mill for psychologists. Pretty pathetic if you ask me. So the bottom line is that they only care about the bottom dollar!
A PsyD program accepting over 100 students? What the heck? Most doctorate programs are maxed at 20-30, if that high. Not at Argosy. It is already difficult enough to find externships and internships. And, to flood the market isn't going to help matters. I will be so glad when I am done and out of there.
