Good Day

Today (Thursday since it is after midnight) was a good day. I had all intentions of making it a lazy day after all the stress from the last few days. But, I was fairly productive. I woke up and made a few phone calls...made an appointment for Frisco to see the vet this afternoon, made an appointment for my 15,000 mile service at the dealership for my car, and made one for the dermatologist to have a couple of places checked. I gave Frisco a bath. I watered my indoor plants. I took Frisco to the vet, ran to the post office, and picked up my dry cleaning.

On my way to the vet, I returned a phone call from a friend. She had free tickets to go see Faith Hill and Tim McGraw tonight. I had already made plans with another friend for dinner. I called her to see if she would mind rescheduling. She didn't. So, this evening my friend and I headed to the MCI Center to see the concert. We were in one of the suites. It was nice. There was a little drama at one point with some random people, but we had a great time. The concert was fantastic. The stage was awesome. There were always different designs coming up from underneath lighting them. We had a great time and my friend got to take her first trip on the metro.

So, all in all a good day. Back to the grind tomorrow. I will begin to really study for my comprehensive exam that is at the end of July. Yipppeee.
