Cherry Blossoms

Today I met a friend in DC and we walked around the tidal basin to see the beautiful cherry blossoms which were in full bloom. It was like a sea of white surrounding the tidal basin. It was a great walk and I certainly enjoyed the company. Unfortunately it was a cloudy day so my pictures aren't as good as they might have been against a blue sky. The cloud formations, however, were great. They looked rippled like sand does when the waves come in or the winds blow across the dessert.
