Peg Leg

I was tired of the discomfort and the inability to straighten my leg. I tried to call the orthopedic surgeon to make an appointment and couldn't get in until the end of the month. So, today I decided to go to the emergency clinic. X-rays looked good. But, yes, there is damage to the cartilage. Possibly a tear in the meniscus. And, they put me in an immobilizer brace. Hmmm, very different picture here from that given in England.

Joking around with a friend, I came up with this as how I should advertise myself: I am currently in peg leg mode. Some say gimpy. But, to me, the immobilizer makes it more like Capt Crunch with a peg leg!

I know, pretty goofy. I have a strange sense of humor at times. But, gotta laugh at myself too!
