Visit with a Friend

I traveled along the Pacific Coast on the way from Camarillo to Marina del Rey this morning. It was a nice drive despite the rain. I would have stopped to take a couple of pics if it had not been raining. I got to the hotel early and was able to check in before my friend arrived.

Once he arrived, we were off. We went to Sunset Blvd and went through Beverly Hills. There are some nice homes there!! We ate lunch on the Blvd. Then, we were off to Hollywood Blvd. We walked around a bit. Saw plenty of the stars along the sidewalk and the Kodak Theatre. Then we were off to Rodeo Drive. Some really nice stores there...and, way out of my price range! It was really fun to catch up and reconnect.

I have just been relaxing in the hotel since. And, once again I am fighting the urge to crawl in the bed. I did check it out for a minute...and, a little disappointing after my stay in Camarillo. The bed in Camarillo was that like the Tempurpedic. The one here is a spring mattress. I hope I will sleep as well here as I did in Camarillo.
