Kitchen Update!

Yes, they are still working on my kitchen. We are now ending week 11 or 12 (I have lost count now). I had a call on Monday from the owner of the company asking me if the guy was here working. Um, three guesses and the first two don't count...NO. He was not happy. The counter top man came by to check on the counter top and the stove top. Well, it isn't a counter top issue and the contractor will need to do something with the cabinets to get the stove top straight. Well, today I had a call stating the guys would be here Saturday and were to finish everything but the two cabinets that have been on order for 10 weeks. I asked on Monday if they had actually been ordered. The owner told me he was starting to wonder the same thing. Well, today it was confirmed...they had been ordered but never paid for. So, obviously they weren't going to be delivered! The owner was not happy at all today! Well, they are ordered as of today and promised in 2-3 weeks. The owners assistant is even coming to the house tomorrow with paint samples for me to choose the color for the living room (wall had to be repaired and now needs to be painted) so that the guys can paint on Saturday. Ugggh.
