Yucky Weather = Pain

I work with chronic pain patients and hear all the time how the cold, wet weather causes more pain. We have had snow and sleet off and on all day with dropping temps. I think I am experiencing what my patients complain about in my knees today (and that I have been on my feet a lot today). I even broke down and took a prescription Ibuprofen in hopes that I will be able to sleep tonight.

I did some research on the ACL reconstruction (the surgery I would be having) and found out some good information. I might even print off information from one site and take it with me in order to ask informed questions of the orthopedic surgeon. I did look the doc up today to see if he had had any complaints filed against him...none in the last 10 years!! (that is all they offer)
